Jammu University has opened applications for various positions in a DBT, Govt. of India funded research project titled “DBT-BUILDER University of Jammu Interdisciplinary Life Science Programme for Advanced Research and Education.” The university is seeking candidates for 08 positions of Project Associate-1 and 01 position of Scientific Adm. Assistant.
Project Details:
The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Interested candidates should submit their applications within 15 days from the date of publishing of the advertisement in the newspaper.
The application should be sealed in an envelope marked as “Application for DBT-BUILDER Positions at Serial No. of the advt. Dated [mention date].”
Position Details:
1. Project Associate-1 (8 Positions)
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Botany/ Plant sciences/ Biotechnology/ Agriculture Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/Zoology/Environmental Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent.
Experience: Environmental analysis, Instrumentation, Research publications in reputed journals, or experience in the field of ecology/ taxonomic aspects and Instrumentation.
Age Limit: 35 years
Monthly Emoluments: ₹31,000/-pm +16% HRA for selected candidates through National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC NET, GATE) or ₹25,000 +16% HRA for others.
2. Scientific Adm. Assistant (01 Position)
Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline.
Experience: Plant Biotechnology/ Generetic Transformation, purchase/handling of scientific equipment, data handling, and documentation.
Age Limit: 50 years
Monthly Emoluments: ₹18,000/-pm +16% HRA
Interview Process:
